The Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS®) is an evidence based assessment tool for use in classrooms from Infants to 3rd grade. The CLASS assessment tool measures the quality of child-teacher interactions and is supported by EEC in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives.
Teaching Pyramid Model Observation Tool (TPOT®) and Teaching Pyramid Infant Toddler Observation Scale (TPITOS®) are program observation tools that measure the implementation of Pyramid Model practices and supports for building social emotional competencies for young children. TPOT and TPITOS are both supported by EEC CQI initiatives.

Raising and educating young children is opportunity to shape the future. Every connection we make with a child has the ability to have a long term impact on how they view the world and their place within the community. I will work with your staff and families to reconnect them with their love of teaching and help them remember how important they are in the lives of these young children.
I also offer presentations to parent groups on topics such as behavior management, sleep training, potty training, or any other topic that your group of parents is interested in!
Inspiration delivered
- Professional Development presentations for educators. I can cover familiar topics such as childhood development, developmental red flags, potty training, behavior management or I can customize my training to meet the individual needs of your school, teachers and children.
- On-Site consultations for classrooms with spirited children. I will provide a 1-2 hour observation and consultation with written feedback which allows the educators to reflect and follow up on suggestions.
- Advocacy supports for parents navigating special education services. Understanding regulations and language of the special education system is difficult. I will support parents by reading through documents, decoding the language of special education and working to access the most appropriate services for the child.
